The French bull dog is not as popular as the English “cousin”, but the passionate breeders consider those as being very different breeds. It is a company dog usually, although it comes from an aggressive race. It is a good companion and guarding dog, and also a rat’s hunter. They will sound the alarm for any potential danger. It is perfect for life in an apartment, as they are more active outside. They can behave without a yard, but if it does not socialize, it will develop aggressive behaviors. The dog is not an object that you can buy and leave it on a shelf when you get bored of it, it is a responsibility.
