Neapolitan mastiff dogs and puppies: information and pictures.
It is a rare breed that can hardly be found outside Southern Italy, because the breeders here want to preserve the race, so they rarely give it to people from other areas. They don’t bark a lot, but they are loving with the children. It is protective and tender even with the master. It is dominant to other dogs, and it accepts other animals only if they socialize as puppies.
The fur must be cleaned often, especially the one on the face. The Neapolitan mastiff puppies must not stay in the sun too much, although they are a breed created in the sunny part of Italy.
