Just like their name says, the Tibetan terrier puppies were first breed in the Tibet. It is adapted to the cold conditions from this part of the world. It is precautious with strangers, and they need socialization as puppies. Otherwise, you will have problems with it lately, as it has the tendency to dominate other dogs. The coat must be brushed every day, and also washed. There is excess hair in ears that must be removed constantly. It is a smart dog, sensitive to the tone of the voice; it likes to move and to have fun. It was used for guarding herds, but today, it is mostly used as a company dog.
