Although I have written the title of this article as "Symbiotic relationship of lion", but while researching about this subject, I came to know that the lions don’t actually have symbiotic relationships, as they don’t need anybody else to survive, they are the kings of the jungle after all! However, the lion depends on zebras and hyenas in some way. The Zebra is one of the main sources of food for the lion, so if there are not zebras in the area, the lion can hardly find something to eat. The symbiotic relationship with hyenas is given by the common hunting habitat. Lions like to migrate, and when they search for a new place to live, the presence of hyenas in a certain area is a sign for the lion that the new habitat is a good one.
