Wallaby

{[['']]}

The wallaby is a relative of the kangaroo. These mammals can be found on the continent of Australia and the islands that surround this area. These marsupials can live up to 9 years in the wild. There are many different species of wallaby, and they are categorized by the habitats in which they live. Since the wallaby is a marsupial, this means that their young are born before they are fully developed. When the baby wallabies are first born, they immediately move to the mother’s pouch in order to finish developing. Since there are a number of various species of wallaby, they vary in size and weight. These mammals can weigh between 4 and 53 pounds.
